Rottnest Air-Taxi has been flying passengers from Perth to Rottnest Island for over 20 years. Chief Pilot Frank Stynman has made over 25,000 landings at Rottnest Island Airport, and now operates a fleet of four aircraft based at Jandakot Airport, located 20 minutes drive south of the Perth city centre.
Flying to Rottnest Island is much faster than taking the ferry (the flight time is only 12 minutes), but it's not just about speed. The overall experience of flying onto the island in a small plane, and enjoying the magnificent view, is just as valuable as avoiding the hassles of queuing for the ferry and being part of the crowd. If you want a really great experience, take Rottnest Air-Taxi!
Rottnest Air-Taxi is a carbon-neutral business since 2005. Thousands of trees have been planted around Western Australia to fully offset the carbon emissions from our aircraft.
